Connection Plate. Installation(2023)
Ceramic and metal.
Average measurement of the figures: 27x21x15 cm.
A touchable and interactive installation of 12 ceramic pieces suspended on the wall. They are connected to a metal mechanical system to make the figure rotate by the audience at different distances apart from the wall and some of them were upside down. They were touchable and movable, abstract hollowed hand built ceramic pieces with figurative elements, wanting the audience to easily feel related, visualizing familiar landscapes and situations. Tiny legs and feet arised from different forms. I like to say that these are space/time machines, that by rotating the figure you can transport yourself to a different landscape.
Location: Springboard Art Fair Werkspoorkathedral, Utrecht June 2023.
